12/05/2009 - I've had a few problems with my Pc, and
been busy the past month, but development is still in progress.
What happens in Broken City depends mostly on the players.
Players will be able to do crimes or different actions that will effect the
entire game. I'll give an example. There is a rive that runs through Broken
City, and there are two bridges to allow players to cross. If someone has
the right tools, they can destroy a bridge, stopping everyone from be able
to cross it. They will have to find another way across. Bridges can also be
repaired with the right tool, but will take a day or two.
12/05/2009 - For those who don't like the green, the
color of the site can be changed in preferences.
10/22/2009 - Item dropping and picking up is now
working. On the screen shot, there is a area that says items in this
location. There will be a list of items that have been left behind listing
there. These items can be picked up. Players are able to drop unwanted items
by clicking Drop in their inventory. You're probably thinking, the first few
people to go through will pick everything up before anyone else can. sure
they will be able to pick up as much as they want, but eventually they won't
be able to carry anymore. there is a weight limit, which can be upgraded as
players progress through the game. Players will have to carefully choose
what they want to pick up and what to drop to make room.

Old News 10/11/2009 - Its been a while since I've posted an
update, so I'll tell everyone what's going on. As I've been working on more
than one website, I haven't been working on Broken City everyday, plus I
have a job which also gives me less time to work on Broken City. As for news
on Broken City, the game will open up with no shops. Items will be scattered
around the map. the game will begin with players getting what they can get
their hands on. Players will then be able to build a shop to sell their
unwanted items. Shops can be built just about anywhere on the map, even in
non populated areas. What happens in Broken City will depend on what
everyone does. Also, I would to tell everyone it will be a while before the
game reopens, but I'm planning on allowing a few people to play the game for
beta testing..
9/28/2009 - First screenshot added. This screenshot
shows off the grid and part of the explore page currently in development.

9/20/2009 - There are now 144 locations on a 12 x 12
grid to explore. Traveling will cost 1 energy every time you move. A list of
users in the area you're at will also be displayed on the explore page.
9/17/2009 - To add more strategy to this game. Skill
Points will be award for gaining levels. These can be used to extend max
health, max energy, max brave, and similar stats. This will give the players
the ability to choose want they want, instead of automatically getting a
fixed amount extended. This and the stat point feature are designed to make
Broken City feel more like an RPG.
9/15/2009 - A grid on the explore page shows your
location in the world to help you navigate to where you want to go. New
travel feature has been confirmed working. Right now featuring 100 locations
(10 x 10 grid)
All new way to explore the world. Since there is no form of
transportation anymore, players can walk north, south, east, or west from the
explore page to reach their destination.
All new level up system. Stat points awarded for gaining
levels. Stat points to be used to raise stats of your choice.
